As Switzerland’s only professional association dedicated to interior architecture, the Association of Swiss Interior Architects VSI.ASAI. sees itself as the country’s leading centre of expertise in the field. Its aim is to promote high-quality living environments and to actively shape the discussion around interior architecture as an independent discipline within building design and planning. The association maintains a close dialogue with various professional groups and advocates a nuanced discourse on building culture.

The association provides an important platform for exchanging ideas, fostering professional expertise and strengthening interior architecture as an independent discipline in Switzerland. VSI.ASAI. is organised into three regions reflecting Switzerland’s cultural diversity: German-speaking Switzerland, French-speaking Switzerland and Ticino. This regional structure enables the association to provide targeted support and foster connections among members in the different language regions.

With around 500 members, the organisation today has a strong and diverse community. Of these, around 280 are active members and around 70 are junior members, representing the next generation of professionals.
